SDM 2009 MBA

SDM Institute for Management Development conducts an Admission process for the aspiring students who want to do post graduation course in Management. The admission is made on the score obtained in CAT exam and academic excellence, work experience will also be considered. The candidates having work experience will be given preference.

Eligibility Criteria :

1) The candidates having pass Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any college recognized by AICTE /AIU
2) The candidate must have got a minimum of 50% marks as aggregate in the degree Examinations.
3) The students currently in their final year and will be taking their last exams f degree in April/May 2009 are also eligible to apply.
4) Such students will have to submit their degree certificate / provisional pass certificate and marks sheets latest by 31st August 2009).

Admission Procedure :

1) The candidate should appear in CAT-2009 which is to be conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) all over the country.
2) Alongside, the candidate should apply for SDM-IMD, Mysore.
3) After seeking the scores in the CAT, and other particulars like academic excellence, work experience, extra curricular activities, the students will be short-listed.
4) The short-listed students will be called for GD/PI from Jan, 2009 – Mar, 2009
5) Final selection will be made on the basis of the collective performance in the CAT, GD and PI.

1. CAT Exam : 16th Nov, 2008
2. Availability of application forms(SDM-IMD) : From 1st Aug, 2008
3. Last date of Availability of forms : 6th Dec, 2008
4. Last date for receipt of forms : 8th Dec, 2008
5. Call for GD/PI : Jan 2009 – Mar 2009
6. Final Results : Mar, 2009
