Graduates from any discipline with valid CAT score (GMAT scores for FN/NRIs) are eligible for admission to the MBA Programme in Information Technology.
Those with BE/B.Tech/Post Graduation/LLB or equivalent are eligible for admission to the MBA (CLIS) Programme.
Those appearing for the Qualifying Degree examination can also apply, if their final results are likely to be declared by 14th July, 2009. There are 76 seats for each Programme. Reservations will be applicable as per rules.
Sale of Application form-cum-Information Brochure will commence on 9th November, 2008. Application form-cum-Information Brochure can be had from the Institute in person or on request. The request letter must be superscribed ‘Request for MBA (IT)/MS (CLIS) Programme Application form’.

Cost of the Application from is Rs .600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates) to be paid in cash or through DD of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of ‘IIIT-Allahabad’, payable at Allahabad. In case of downloaded forms, the filled up form should be accompanied by the DD for the amount applicable.
The last date for issuing (in person) & receiving completed application forms at IIIT-A Counter is 21st January, 2009.
The Entrance Test & Interview for screened in applicants for MBA (IT) will be held on 21st and 22nd February, 2009 and that for MS(CLIS) on 28th February and 1st March, 2009 at IIIT-Allahabad.
