Name of Post – Professor
Eligibility & Experience - An eminent scholar with published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 15 years of experience in post graduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University / National Level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.
Or
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who have made significant contribution to knowledge.
In exceptional cases, the teachers with 20 years of UG teaching / research experience could also be considered.
Scale (Pre-revised) - Rs.18,400 – Rs.22,400
Name of Post – Additional Professor
Eligibility & Experience - An eminent scholar with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work of high quality, actively engaged in research, with 10 years of experience in post graduate teaching, and/or experience in research at the University / National Level institutions, including experience of guiding research at doctoral level.
Or
An outstanding scholar with established reputation who have made significant contribution to knowledge.
In exceptional cases, the teachers with 15 years of UG teaching / research experience could also be considered.
Scale (Pre-revised) - Rs.16,400 – Rs.20,900
Name of Post – Associate Professor
Eligibility & Experience - Good academic record with a doctoral degree or equivalent published work. In addition to these, candidates who join from outside the University System, shall also possess at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F.
5 years of experience of teaching and/or research excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degrees and has made some mark in the areas of scholarship as evidence by quality of publications, contribution to educational innovation, design of new courses and curricula.

Name of Post – Assistant Professor
Eligibility & Experience - Good Academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Scale (Pre-revised) - Rs.8,000 – Rs.13,500
Name of Post – Research Associate
Eligibility & Experience - Good Academic record with at least 55% of the marks or, an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Master’s Degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a foreign University.
Scale - As per UGC Rules
Name of Post – Assistant Librarian
Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Eligibility & Experience - Master’s Degree in library science/information science/documentation or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale plus a consistently good academic record, computerization of library. Relaxation as per U.G.C. guidelines shall be applicable.
Scale - Rs.8,000 – Rs.13,500
For Faculty positions in Law, preference will be given to candidates who have teaching experience in the area of Commercial and Business Laws, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Procedural Laws and IPR.
Qualification, eligibility and terms of conditions of appointment as per UGC Regulations. Applications are also invited from retired persons for the position of Visiting Faculty. The University may also consider candidates who may not have formally applied.
