Karnataka Examinations Authority announces admission to professional courses in Karnataka for the academic year 2009.
The candidates should be from Karnataka or migrants from Jammu and Kashmir.
The candidates need to appear for the Common Entrance Test CET 2009 for admissions to the first year Medical/ Dental/ Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani/ Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Naturopathy courses in various colleges of state of Karnataka.
The candidate must take PCB in the CET for medical and para medical courses and PCM for Engineering and Technology courses. The candidates wanting admission in Architecture must take NATA.
Brochure and application form will be available through schools and colleges of Karnataka State upon submission of DD of Rs.550/- in favour of ” The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore”. the fee is Rs.400 for SC/ ST/ category 1 candidates. The last date of submission of DD to principals of schools and colleges across Karnataka is 10th Feb 2009.

29th April 2009 10:30 - 11:50 AM Biology 60 marks
02:30 - 3:50 P.M Mathematics 60 marks
30th April 2009 10:30 - 11:50 AM Physics 60 marks
02:30 - 03:50 P.M Chemistry 60 marks
On 1st May 2009, Kannada Language test will be held at 11:00 A.M. for Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates and at 1:00P.M. at Horanadu Kannadiga Candidates.
