PROSPECTUS & APPLICATION FORMS
1. Prospectus and Application forms will be available from the branches of The Dhanalakshmi Bank and South Indian Bank from 5th March 2009 to 22nd April 2009
1. Cost of application form : Rs. 1,250/-
2. From the Office by Speed post/Courier : Rs. 1,310/-
3. Download from the site and submit along with a DD for Rs. 1,310/-
4. Application can be submitted ONLINE too
DD to be drawn in the name of AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM, PAYABLE AT KOCHI.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Minimum 17 years of age and maximum 23 years on or before 31st December 2009.
2. Pass in 12th standard in the first attempt and with a minimum of marks 60% in English and 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, from any State Higher Secondary Board or equivalent. NRI’s and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) who qualify from foreign universities will have to produce an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
3. Those who appear for the qualifying examination in March / April 2009 can also apply.
B. Pharm
Must have passed 12th standard with a minimum of 50% marks in English and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (or Math, Biotechnology, Computer Science).

Eligibility:
a) MBBS degree
b) Full registration either from MCI or any of the state Medical council after completing compulsory rotating internship.
c)Those who will complete the internship before 30th May 2009 and are able to produce the full registration from the MCI or any state Medical council before 30.06.2009.
Note
The following students are not eligible to apply
Candidates who failed more than three times in any examination
Candidates who failed in more than three subjects during the UG course,
Candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from Medical colleges which are not recognized by MCI
Candidates can obtain the application and prospectus
a) By post: Write to The Admission Coordinator, Amrita school of Medicine, Amrita institute of medical sciences, elamakkara PO, Kochi along with a DD for Rs.1310/- favoring “Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham” payable of Kochi.
b) In person: Collect from selected branches of Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd., and south Indian bank on payment of Rs.1250/-(
