The application form can be submitted through ONLINE (Click here) . Send the hard copy (in A4 size) along with original bank challan for the prescribed fee and the copies of required certificates. The Application Form and Information Brochure can also be obtained through post by writing to “The Deputy Registrar (Academic II) Pondicherry University, R.V. Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry – 605014” along with prescribed application fee by means of challan (Refer Mode of Payment paragraph) and self addressed envelope of size 32cm x 25 cm, stamped for Rs.90/-. Request for application must be superscribed on the envelope " Request for application form for Admission".

Application Fee : For all courses Rs.100/-, Rs.50/- for SC/ST, Free of Cost for physically and visually challenged candidates subject to submission of relevant certificates.Use separate application form for each programme. The application form can also be obtained from the Pondicherry University Staff Co-operative Credit Society at the University Campus on payment of the the cost of application form plus Rs.10/- as service charge. Scholarships

All the full time scholars admitted to the M.Phil and Ph.D programmes of the University will be eligibile for a monthly fellowship of Rs.3000/- and Rs. 5000/- respectively along with contingencies. Scholarships @ Rs.750/- p.m are also available to all students of the M.Sc. Five Year Integrated Programmes. In addition, Merit Scholarships, Merit cum Means Scholarships (including Hindi and Sanskrit Scholarships) and Freeships are available to deserving students of PG degree programmes.

Eligibility for appearing in KLE-UGAIET – 2009 & subsequent admission

Common Eligibility Requirements for admission to MBBS/BDS: Only those candidates who
would satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements for admission to a course
will be considered eligible to appear for the KLE UG All India Entrance Test (UGAIET – 2009)
& subsequently for admission to that course.

Age:
The candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before the first day of December 2009.

Qualifications:
i) The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher
Secondary Certificate Examination PUC II / HSC or the Indian School Certificate Examination
(ISCE) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2/HSC examination of any recongnized
Board/University from any School/College situated in India/Abroad after 12 years of study.
ii) The candidate should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English
individually & must have obtained atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken
together in the qualifying examinations i.e., PUC II/10+2 / HSC or equivalent. The candidate
should also have secured atleast 50% marks in physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together at
KLE-UGAIET – 2009 for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
The candidate should also have scored 50% marks in English language.
iii) Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e.,
PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be
considered eligible to appear for KLE-UGAIET-2009, provided they have offered the above
mentioned subjects at the said examination.

For Admission into B.Arch:

1. Candidate must have passed 12th class with at least 45% aggregate.

2. 5% relaxation is given to the SC/ ST candidates.

For Admission into B.Arch:

1. Candidate must have cleared 10+2 level with at least 50 % aggregate from the recognized University.

For Admission into MBA:

1. Candidate must have cleared minimum of 3 years of Bachelor’s Degree from the recognized University with at least 45 % aggregate.

For Admission into MCA:

1. Candidate must have passed 3 years Bachelor degree course from the recognized University with at least 45 %marks.
