ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. M.A. (Education) and M.A. (Development): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates with work experience are actively encouraged to apply to both these programmes.

2. Master’s in Teacher Education*: Master’s Degree in any discipline and a professional teaching certification (B.Ed., D.Ed., B.EL.Ed or equivalent). Minimum two years of teaching experience at School or Pre- University levels.


Financial assistance and Student support will be provided along with Placement support.


SELECTION PROCEDURE
Selection based on written test & interview examining proficiency in English, analytical ability, general & social awareness and knowledge of relevant subjects. Written test at 28 centres across India on Sunday, February 26, 2012.

Selected candidates are required to submit a bank draft for Rs.8235/- by 24th March 2009.
The bank draft is to be made out to “Registrar, Jadavpur University” and should be
payable at kolkata. The candidates should write his/her name in block letters on the
reverse of the bank draft. The bank draft should be sent to Professor Gautam Gupta,
Department of Economics, Jadavpur University, Kolkata-700032. Selected candidates are
required to be present at Vivekananda Hall, Subarna Jayanti Bhaban, Jadavpur University
on 28th March at 11am for registration. The registration will be followed by an induction
workshop 28th -29th March 2009, which is mandatory for all selected students.
