Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Common Entrance test (CET) for selection of candidates for admission into two year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) offered in Government District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and in Private Elementary Teacher Training Institutions in the State during the academic years 2009 - 2011.

Eligibility: Intermediate pass or appear for March/April,2009 of Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. Age: 17 years should be completed as on 01.09.2009. There is no upper age limit.

The ICR Form and Application form duly filled in should be submitted by post to the Convenor, DIET CET - 2009 & RJDSE,Hyderabad (Govt. Junior College Premises), Kachiguda, Hyderabad - 500 027.

Eligibility:

a) The candidates should be Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date (as per G.O.Ms.No.25, date :19-03-2004 & G.O.Ms.No.108, Higher Education Department, dated 30-07-2005 and its amendments).

b) The Candidate other then Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

c) A pass (or) appearance at the final year examinations of Bachelor’s Degree (Except BOL and BFA) of any University in Andhra Pradesh or Any other University Recognized as equivalent thereto.

d) The candidate seeking admission into MBA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less then three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent thereof besides passing SSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

e) The candidate seeking admission into MCA course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination or not less than three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (or) should have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less than 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

f) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2009

g) Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.

h) Qualifying marks in ICET-2009 is 25% and no minimum marks prescribed for SC/ST candidates.

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA COURSE unless the candidate:

(i) appears before the on-line counseling at any of the Counseling Centres notified.

(ii) applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for distance mode) satisfies the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned.

Sale of Application Forms:

Prescribed application form for the entrance test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person on payment of Rs.250/- in cash at (i) all the Head Post Offices in A.P. , (ii) all the Post Offices located on the University campuses, and (iii) the e-seva centres in Andhra Pradesh.

Submission of Application forms:

Duly filled-in application forms (placed in the envelope supplied) may be submitted along with relevant documents by paying postal charges through the Head Post Office to The Convener, ICET- 2009, Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam - 530 003 (A.P.) India on or before 28-03-2009 up to 5.00 pm. The application forms may also be submitted on or before.

In the form of DD drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad. In complete application forms and application forms received after the specified date and time will summarily be rejected.

Submission of Application Online:
Application also can be submitted online. However, a copy of the application downloaded along with passport size photograph and D.D. for Rs.250/- drawn in favour of “The Secretary, APSCHE”, payable at Hyderabad is to be sent to the Convener, ICET -2009.

The Superintendents of the Teaching Hospitals in the State/Principals of Government/ Private Schools of Nursing are informed that the results of the General Nursing and Midwifery Examinations (Regular) held in the month of September,2008 are hereby declared as per the Appendix enclosed.

Further they are informed that if any candidate desires for re-counting in any paper, they are requested to forward the applications of the candidates along with particulars of Hall ticket Number and subject of recounting duly enclosing original Challan of Rs.100/-per each Subject under relevant Head of account. Such applications are allowed between 19.02.2009 to 21.02.20009 duly forwarding from the concerned examination centers. Receipt of applications after 21.02.2009 for recounting will not be entertained. Reasons for late submission and receipt of such applications due to postal delays etc., will not be considered.

NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUTIMENT OF TEACHERS-2008

1. In pursuance to the orders by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.159, Education Ser (VI) Department, Dated.05-12-08, G.O.Ms.No.161, Education Ser(VI) Department, Dated.06-12-2008 applications are invited from the candidates for selection to the posts School Assistants, Language Pandits, Secondary Grade Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Government, Zilla Parishad, Mandal Parishad Schools and the schools under the control of Project officer, I.T.D.As and Municipalities in the state unit wise. Interested candidates are required to submit their applications in the prescribed form on any day from 15-12-2008
to 16–01-2009 to the District Educational Officer of the District concerned, where he/she
would like to seek selection. Candidates who desire to apply for more than one post based on
their eligibility shall have to submit separate applications for each post.

2. District-wise vacancy position is as indicated in Annexure - I(A),I(B),I(C) & I(D) & II &
III (A) AND (B)

Note: -
I. The rule of reservation to local candidates is applicable.

II. The rule of special representation in the matter of appointment of candidates belonging to
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes, Physically Challenged, Exservice
Men and women is applicable as per Rules and rule 22 of Andhra Pradesh State
and Subordinate Service Rules as amended from time to time.

III. The rules issued from time to time by the Department of Disabled Welfare on 1) Age
relaxation 2) Minimum percentage of disability and 3) allocation of roster points for General
and women candidates will be applicable.

IV. Local Scheduled Tribe candidates will only be considered for selection and appointment
against the vacancies in Scheduled Areas. (Agency area) as per Article 342 of the
constitution of India i.e for the vacancies notified in annexure–I(B). They shall also be
considered for selection to the posts notified in Plain area. Women, PH and Ex-service
persons reservation shall be followed as per rules in force.

V. Notified vacancies are subject to variation on intimation being received from the appointing
authority as per need in the School and based on the strength particulars, in such case the
selection of the candidate will be cancelled at any time.

3. METHOD OF RECRUITMENT:
The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Written Test,
and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time. The total
marks shall be 100 (One Hundred). The details of allocation of marks for written
test and weight-age to different aspects for different categories of posts shall be as
decided by the Government from time to time.

6. AGE:
Applicant must have completed the minimum age of 18 years and must not have
completed the maximum age 39 years as on the 1st day of July 2008. However in case of
BC/SC/ST candidate the maximum age limit is 44 years, and in respect of Physically
Challenged candidates the maximum age limit is 49 years.
Upper age for Ex-service Men - A person, who worked in the Armed Forces of the Indian
union, shall be allowed to deduct the length of the service rendered by him in the Armed
Forces and also three years from his age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.

7. HOW TO APPLY:-
I) Printed application forms may be obtained on payment of Rs.200 /- from 15-12-2008 to 10-01-2009
(both days inclusive) excluding the public holidays in all Head post Offices at the District Head
Quarters and Head Post Offices /Sub Post Offices at the Revenue Divisional Head Quarters and e-
Seva centres.
II) Applicants should carefully read all the instructions before filling up the application form.
III) Applicants should fill the application carefully, with his/her own handwriting.
IV) The Applicant must enclose the following to his/her application.
a. Attested copies of Memorandum of Marks and Pass Certificates of the Educational
Qualifications prescribed to the post.
b. Attested copy of Date of Birth Certificate (SSC or its equivalent certificate).
c. Attested copy of the caste ``certificate in the prescribed proforma issued by Mandal Revenue
Officer in the case of S.Cs and S.Ts and B.Cs.
d. Attested copy/copies of the study certificate(s) from the heads of Institutions for classes IV to X
(S.S.C) or copies of the residence certificate as a proof of local candidate in case of the
candidate who has not studied in any recognized school during the whole or any part of the
Seven year period ending with his/her appearance for the first time for class-X (S.S.C) or
equivalent examination.
e. Attested copies of certificates of proof of visually Handicapped /Hearing Impaired
/Orthopaedically challenged as the case may be.
f. Apart from pasting a latest black and white passport size photograph on the application form,
every candidate should submit 3(three) latest black and white passport size photographs.
g. Three (3) self addressed envelopes of size 10”X4” each with stamps worth Rs 5/-.
h. Service certificate obtained from the District Sainik welfare officer of the concerned District shall
be submitted in case of Ex-servicemen if he claims the relaxation of age and reservation for
selection under the Ex-servicemen quota. The Ex-servicemen who are drawing pension are only
eligible to claim Ex-serviceman quota.
V) Applications without all the relevant enclosures will not be accepted and will be rejected.
VI) INCOMPLETE / INCORRECT AND LATE APPLICATIONS WILL SUMMARAILY BE
REJECTED AND NO FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN THIS
REGARD. APPLICATION SENT TO ANY AUTHORITY OTHER THAN THE SECRETARY
D.S.C ( i.e DISTRICT EDUCATIONAL OFFICERS OF THE CONCERNED DISTRICT ) SHALL
NOT BE ACCEPTED.

8. RECEIPT OF APPLICATION:
Applications shall be submitted in person to the secretary of the District selection committee
(District Educational Officer) of the concerned district, at the place/places indicated by the
secretary of the District selection committee (District Educational Officer) on or before 16-01-
2009 between 10.00am to 5.00 pm on all working days. The details of place/places of
submission of application will be prominently displayed at the Collector’s Office, Zilla Parishad
and the Offices of District Educational Officer, Deputy Educational Officer and Mandal
Parishad development Officer.

9. ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES FOR VERIFICATION:
All the original certificates shall be produced by the candidates for verification at the time of
submission of applications. Applications of the candidates who do not produce the original
certificates for verification will be rejected summarily. The candidate who produces a bogus
degree or other certificate will be liable for prosecution besides other action as per rules. Mere
acceptance of an application either inadvertently or otherwise shall not exonerate the applicant
for submitting bogus certificate.

9. ISSUE OF HALL TICKETS:
Hall Tickets will be dispatched to the eligible candidates for written test by post. The hall tickets
will be available in the website also. The candidates can download their e-hall ticket and can
appear for the written test. The website address will be announced in all leading News Papers.
Note: The secretary of the District selection committee (i.e District Educational Officer)
will not be responsible for any postal delay.

10. METHOD OF SELECTION:
Candidates shall be selected on the basis of marks secured in the written test conducted for
100 marks and following rule of reservation. The selection of candidate for the posts in
Plain/Scheduled (agency) area under the control of Tribal department shall be taken up only
after the selection of candidate for the posts in Plain/ Scheduled (agency)area under the
control of District Educational Officer is completed. The candidate can, however express
option by indicating his/her willingness in the application itself.

11 . MEDIUM OF QUESTION PAPERS:
The Question papers will be in the medium concerned. The Question Paper in Telugu
Medium will be supplied to the candidates appearing for the test to the post in Telugu
Medium and likewise to other medium candidates.

12. WRITTEN TEST:
i. The candidate should take the Test only in the district in which he/she submitted his/her
application.
ii. The candidate shall be required to answer multiple-choice questions by way of shading
in the space indicated in the O.M.R sheet.
iii. The marks for written test once awarded shall be final as there is no provision in the rules for
revaluation of marks. However, prescribed Computer printout copy of scanned OMR answer
sheet duly attested by the DEO, in respect of response (Answers) shaded by the candidates
will be issued by the DEOs concerned on the dates and on payment of amount prescribed by
the undersigned.
iv. After due dates the above said Computer printout copy of scanned OMR answer sheet will not
be issued at any cost.
v. Appeals and objections on the Initial key will not be entertained at any cost after prescribed
date. Final key once issued shall be final.

Applicants interested in registering for the IMCAT 2009, can fill up the online Registration Form available on the site and make payment of Rs.800 towards cost of IMCAT 2009 prospectus, using credit card (Visa/Master Card/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway and the prospectus will be sent to them. Applicants registering online should attach their scanned color photograph along with online application.
