Punjabi University conducts an Entrance Test for all the students who want to take admission in Law courses. The University provides admission to both under-graduate and post graduate students. The university is situated in Patiala and is affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Punjabi University, Patiala.

* Five Years B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
* Five Years B.A. LL.B.
* Three Years LL.B.

Eligibility Criteria:

* For B.A LLB and B.A LLB:

1. The candidate should have done 10+2 from a recognized board.
2. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks as aggregate in the 10+2 examinations.
3. The age of the candidate should not be greater than 20 years.

* For Three years LLB:

1. The candidate must have obtained Bachelor’s degree from a reputed institute under a recognized University.
2. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks as aggregate in the graduation.

1. Sale of Application form starts : 3rd Week of May, 2009
2. Last date for receipt of filled Application Forms : Starting of Jun, 2009
3. Date of commencement of Entrance Test : 3rd Week of Jun, 2009
4. Result Declaration : End of Jun, 2009

Examination Pattern:

1. The duration of the test will be three hours.
2. All the questions will be of Multiple Choice Type (MCQ)
3. Their will be total of 300 questions which will be divided as:

* Mental Ability - 50 questions (200 marks)
* General Knowledge & Current Affairs - 100 questions (400 marks)
* Aptitude for Law - 100 questions (400 marks)
* General English - 50 questions (200 marks)

1. Candidate must have minimum of 60% aggregate in 12th class.

3. Merit list will be created on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in the 10+2 board exam.

4. The admission into these courses is completely done on the basis of CET Exam.

5. Candidate must have appeared in CET exam

Date of entrance exam: First week of June, 2009.
