Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) is a very big network that involves more than 400 management schools across India.
AIMS are responsible for organizing the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) which is being regarded as the standard test to get admission into postgraduate management programs.
The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is approved by AICTE and it is also considered as the base for getting into reputed management schools in India. AIMS test for management admissions is considered as one of the best five tests recognized by the Government of India.
Eligibility
The eligibility criterion for candidates who are interested to appear for ATMA is as follows.
* Candidate with a bachelor degree from any discipline are eligible to take up the test.
Special features
When compared to the other aptitude examinations for admission to MBA programs, AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) offers some special features.
* There are no minimum percentage criteria
* No work experience is required
Application Procedure
Candidates are expected to be aware of the notifications of issue applications and exam dates. Usually, ATMA is being conducted by the month of February.
ATMA application form will be available in the ATMA office itself which can also be obtained by sending a DD of the prescribed amount to the ATMA office.
The last date to get the application forms is on 21st January 2009. The last date to submit the applications is by 24th of January 2009.
The test will be conducted on 8th February 2009 and the results would be announced by 2nd of March 2009.
Test pattern
There will be totally 170 questions to be answered completely of objective type (multiple choices). The sections that include are
* Analytical Reasoning Skills
* Verbal Skills
* Quantitative Skills
* Analytical Reasoning Skills
* Verbal Skills
* Quantitative Skills
Each correct answer would reward you one mark each. 0.33 marks would be deducted for each wrong answer. 0.33 marks would be deducted if you select more than one answer for a question.
Interviews
The selected candidates would be called for group discussion and personal interview and would be short-listed for the MBA program based on their performance.
